Here are some long lasting impacts and ripple effects

Engaging the youth on environmental sustainability issues through community action and awareness creation. Our focus is on Capacity Building and Youth Empowerment which has a direct link to the three thematic areas of GAYO which are: climate change, circular economy, and disaster risk reduction, through initiatives like plastic-free campus projects, webinars (for building capacity), zero-waste campaigns, social media campaigns, virtual chapter week celebrations, university forums, tree planting exercises, environmental education and awareness, and inter-chapters activities.
