In Ghana, we are advancing locally-led climate solutions for sustainable change through initiatives/projects including Zero Waste Cities, Land Restoration, Community Energy Evidence & Development, Heat Resilience, Water for Adaptation, African Youth Negotiators Fellowship, etc.
In Botswana, we are empowering local leadership to deliver sustainable climate solutions through the Zero Waste Guardians Youth Training, Digital Advocacy Campaign, Bontleng Community Eco Park and Climate Smart Agriculture, Pre/Post COP Youth Summits, Morwa Green Market Establishment, etc.
In Uganda, we are driving community-led climate action for lasting sustainability through Waste Pickers Unionization, Eco Club Mentorships, Youth Climate Council Community Trainings, etc.
GAYO co-creates and implements climate solutions across Africa. Working across themes such as just transition, adaptation and resilience, zero-waste cities, and green jobs, we bridge communities, institutions, and policy to deliver locally owned and durable change.
